S9 Plus Assembly Tutorial

Step 1: Unpack the drying box and the printer, and confirm that the accessories are complete (S9 does not have a standard drying box)

Step 2: Cut off the cable ties securing the printer

Step 3: Install the two sides of the gantry and fix the screws

1. Push the hot bed forward until you see the screw holes on the left, and move the gantry.

2. Find the screw A in the accessory bag ①.

3. Lock the screws into the left and right screw holes

Step 4: Install the fixing screws at the bottom of the gantry frame

1. Spread the protective foam in the box on the table, then turn the printer 90 degrees and place it on the foam.

2. Take out screw B in screw bag 2, move the printer wiring harness by hand, and find 4 screw holes.

3. Lock screw B into the screw hole.

Step 5: Make sure the voltage switch is at the voltage level you are using

Improper voltage setting will damage the printer, please make sure to slide the switch to the corresponding voltage level (115V or 230V) you are using.

Step 6: Install the Supplies Support Hanging Rod

1. Find the filament support rod ⑬, filament support ⑭ and screw A.

2. Install the filament support rod ⑬ into the filament support ⑭, and use the screw A in the accessory bag ① to lock it into the corresponding position.

Step 7: Fix the consumables support and gantry

1. Install the assembled consumables bracket on the top of the gantry frame from top to bottom and align the screw holes for fixing the bracket and the gantry frame.

2. Take out the remaining 3 screws A in the accessory bag ① and lock them into the corresponding positions.

Step 8: Install the tie rod

1. Loosen the screws on the left and right sides of the cover and tilt it upwards.

2. Adjust the position of the nut, and then screw the end of the screw ⑲ without the screw into the screws on the left and right sides of the cover plate.

3. Adjust the position of the screw and the nut at the other end of the screw ⑲ so that it is aligned with the upper fixing hole.

4. Use screw C to fix the diagonal rod on the end of the fixed bracket.

5. Adjust the position of the nuts on the left and right sides of the cover plate, tighten the screws, and complete the assembly.

Instructions for connecting to the dryer box

1. Take out the dryer box, confirm that the appearance is not damaged, and the connection between the aviation plug and the dryer box is intact.

2. Unplug the protective cover of the printer connection plug.

3. Find the alignment point of the male and female connectors.

4. Insert the aviation plug cable into the printer and tighten the fixing knob.

S9 Plus use tutorial

1. Put the consumables into the dryer box, and pull out the consumables from the outlet of the dryer box.

2. Use the included scissors to cut the filament at a 45-degree angle and straighten it.

3. Press the disconnection detection switch, pass the consumables through the disconnection detection device, then hold the feeding handle, and insert the consumables into the PTFE tube to the end.

Note: (it is recommended to check automatic leveling, electrical material detection, plug detection)

For the first use, please adjust the Z-axis data compensation first, and then complete the AUX Leveling manually. After that, go back to the home page, click Print to start, and choose to turn on the auto-leveling function.

(1) Loosen the heated bed nut flush with the screw.

(2) Click Leveling to start platform leveling.

(3) Click Settings -> Leveling, then use a piece of A4 paper, adjust the Z-axis data compensation, and gently press the paper to a state where it can be dragged but has resistance.

(4) Enter the AUX Leveling function, click the numbers in the order of 2-3-4-5 to manually level, and adjust the heat bed nut to make the paper state consistent with (3).

(5) Go back to the home page and click Print (make sure the auto-leveling icon is lit).
